Default Feedback on an idea for a LED lighting mod

Taking a shot in the dark with this one on how people would respond. Assuming it's even legal, thinking of installing LED strips (that match the swoosh DTRLs in color/intensity) behind the spindle grills along the chrome frame. Not all the way around, but from top to bottom on both sides. Have them run with the DTRLs. I think it would add an interesting look along with the DTRLS. Have seen several cars here locally (state of MD) running some small LED strips being their grilles. So either it's legal or they don't care.

I am curious to see how it would look like.. I wouldn't do both top and bottom though. Maybe hide one strip behind the bumper reinforcement or just at the top , along the chrome

not thinking of doing the top or bottom, but the sides running from top to bottom, would look like two arrows pointing at the Lexus symbol

I'd be curious to see a mock up of it. As long as it isn't too much or gaudy it might be a cool idea.

If this is what you were describing...

NO don't do it.

Spend your time, money an effort on something else.

Don't do it. Will make your car look tacky, and make you look like an amateur in car modding

IMO of course.

talked to my boy at the local shop, can't do it anyway cause i forgot about that center area where the license plate goes. Going to figure out an alternative way to mount some lighting, something that won't look tacky or ricey. But definitely want to try something
