Getting warm under the Steering Wheel.
Almost four months with my ride and I've notice this a few times now...Hasn't bugged me so much but I wanted to know if other IS3 owners are experiencing the same issue. In the driver cockpit under the steering wheel at times after a long run over 20 miles it gets warm under the steering wheel towards my legs. I tend to turn the AC on down to the feet to cool it down but don't know if this is normal. Happens more when I have the car in Sport Mode and going on long rides. Doesn't happen all the time but has happen a few times now since getting my ride in July. Anyone else experiencing this?

"It's normal"
I actually took my car into service on Friday to do the following.
- Unusual heat expelling from below the wheel, in your case.
- Driver side window making loud grinding noise when rolling windows up.
- Update Navigation and UI slowness from V8300 to V8XXX ( Don't know until I get it back )
Their Response
1. "Heat is normal, we had our technicians test with a thermometer in several locations and confirmed it's normal for this model."
My response, I honestly don't like this, no matter how high I turn on my AC, or how low I configure my exhaust it still has the same outcome.
2. They provided me a loaner vehicle, dropped my car off on Friday and have yet to hear from them.
I did get a phone call on Friday afternoon, regarding keeping the car overnight. They mentioned about a Diagnostics Specialist to exam the vehicle because it's still fairly new and they need time with it to monitor.
My response, I hope this doesn't affect the other driver windows because it'll be a hassle with my schedule, having to drop off this car for service several times a month.
3. They said they've updated the system and there shouldn't be any iPhone 5s "iPod Error" forcing user to reset.
My response, let's see what version it got updated to when I get my car back.
The loaner car I got was the Rx300, 2013.
Hope the repairs don't take too long, was hoping to enjoy it over the weekend in this last warm weather.
