December to Remember Question

The December event and the one in the summer are nothing to get excited about. They don't blow the cars out like some sort of GM Tent sale....it's a big nothing burger in my experience. interest rates are so low now there isn't much margin to play with.....most CU's can beat the loans from Lexus Financial any day of the week. They are NOT going to be letting new IS's roll out the door at any sort of discount over what the market dictates. It's all just a program to get you, the lazy potential customer, to get off your butt and drop into your closest Lexus dealer. But don't expect any real deal that you couldn't normally get if you are any sort of a negotiator.

Well said. I agree, not that big of a deal, but every little bit helps if you're in the market anyhow.

All good points. Aggressive negotiating lends the same deal or better.
What's somewhat surprising though, is the new IS debuted with a lease special. I don't recall that happening with past IS debuts, but these are different times. This class of car is extremely competitive, and many urban dealers get kickbacks based on how many cars they sell. What sells a lot of cars? Lease deals.
