Oil changing
Has anyone done their own oil change yet?
DIY will be gladly appreciated😁
Also: how early are some of you guys doing it? 1k,5k, or dealer recommended 10k?(which I think is too long)

Where did they state for you that 5k and 10k is complimentary?
I only received a 1k and 5k service coupon.
Also during the purchase I didn't get free interval service like many here did, which added to the cost of the car.(which i'm okay with)

If you go to the "scheduled maintenance" tab in that link it's the last line in the "proper maintenance intervals" paragraph.
Synthetic oil vehicle complementary services are 6 months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles.

PROPER MAINTENANCE INTERVALS
Your Lexus should receive scheduled maintenance every 5,000 miles or every six months, depending on your circumstances and driving habits.
Use the following chart to determine your maintenance schedule. (The chart below is for a non-synthetic oil vehicle, please confirm the chart will reflect a synthetic oil vehicle when appropriate. Synthetic oil vehicle complementary services are 6 months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles.)

Changing my own at 1000 - this coming weekend. Might be paranoid by I suspect there are tiny metal shavings in the oil from the break-in period. Also want to get high quality oil (AMSOil) in as soon as possible.
