Hey guys Have any of your rolled or shaved the tapered part of your rear fender ? Recently put on new 19's and im rubbing a bit on full load when i go through some dips. Wheel specs are 275x30x19 19x9.5 +40 The black tire marks are where it hits and im wondering what i can do about it to lessen the rubbing

Sorry for the bad doodle, on my phone now, highlighted the part where it rubs. Will take clearer pics later
Full load is one adult and one kid sitting in the rear with a trunk full of kid stuff Stock suspension.
It rubs on a few areas around my house so it gets annoying Wheel doesnt stick out, its just the tapered part of the 3IS that makes it a PITA.
Was on vossen 20x10.5 +45 on the rear before this with 275x30x20 tires and those stuck out more and those didnt rub... but i put them on used tires which were about 40-50% usability only Will take clearer pics later
By the way these pics were taken with no load

To be honest i cant determine if it hits the sidewall of the tire or the tread itself. Ill try to go to the bodyshop next week to have it checked
Drove it hard just a while ago with no passengers and it really rubs in the rear in dips.

Brought it to the shop earlier, they said they couldn't roll fenders in the highlighted part anymore without deforming the body. Will try to do negative camber first but if it doesn't pan out , i might have to change to 265/30/19's
Bass Mech, the shop said that +45 might be enough to clear that small part where it rubs but they couldn't say for sure. Have you gotten your tires already ?

I was thinking of going with 19x9.5 40mm offset but I may need to go with 45mm offset if they fit better.

Honestly I can't say for sure if there would be problems on the inside. Are you planning to drop your car ?
To be on the safe side I think it would just be better to go with 265/30/19's as IntegresS is using these as well with 19x9.5 +32 on the rear ( no rubbing in dips and on speed bumps )
You could also wait for Bass Mech to mount his wheels in case you want to check if +45 would fit with 275/30's

Earlier today i finished changing my tires from 275/30 to 265/30 and so far i haven't rubbed in the dip / speed bump combo near my house that i always rub at even without load at the back.
Ill be able to test full load in that area by tomorrow. Only negative is that the wheel gap has increased in the rear so ill probably be doing a mild drop soon
