2IS is a big chick car here in South Texas. I, personally, was considering Audi before Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Acura, and Infiniti. It wasn't until I was on my way to the BMW dealer that I decided to stop at Lexus and saw the 3IS for the first time in the showroom. Test drove it, and the very next day bought it. I had no idea about the 3IS when I stopped at Lexus. Dealer said I was the first IS350 F Sport they had sold, this was in late August, and that they were only receiving a few more F Sports in upcoming weeks, all 250's. Since then, I've seen a few 3IS's out, only 2 other F Sports, but they were 250's. I totally debadged mine, which makes people stare even more trying to guess what it is. Even the F Sport emblems on the side are gone. I am 29, and I think with this new 3IS, it is going to attract a huge male audience in the 35 and under crowd for sure.

Since my purchase, my Dad is now considering Lexus for the very first time as well. He's more into the LS though...

And there is low inventory for some F-sport combinations. The demand for F-sport is higher than anticipated again.

At this rate the 3IS will blow past the 32k sales goal
