Tools and Extra Parts:
6 - 10mm bolts (3 per light), (kit did not come with the bolts)
10mm socket
the usual stuff
Installation:
- Remove front wheel liners. I only loosed the front of each liner, just be gentle make sure you have enough room to get the fog light thru.
- Reach around and push out the black blank bezel (where the foglights will go), no screws, they will just pop off.
- Wiggle the light in from the wheel well and place them where you took the blank bezel off.
- There are a couple tabs that help align the lights.
- Install the 3 - 10mm bolts.
- Do the same for the other side.
- Install the new replacement bezels.
- Since everything is Toyota, it fits perfectly!
- Don't put the wheel wells back in until after wiring.
Wiring:
- Open hood.
- Remove the black plastic radiator cover, between the front grill and radiator.
- Just a few clips and it gives you plenty of room the run the wiring.
- Plug in the foglights and route the wiring down by your radiator hoses.
- I ran the harness up by the passenger headlight area.
- The battery is on the Passenger side to I chose to put the relay also on the passenger side.
- I ran the wiring harness along the factory wiring on the passenger side.
- I attached the power cable to the power distribution box (you can also go directly to the battery).
- Since I chose to come thru the passenger side into the cabin, I found an empty plug where the factory wiring harness comes thru (firewall on the passenger side corner of engine compartment).
- I cut a hole on the rubber grommet and ran the foglight wire thru.
- It is only 1 wire.
- From the inside of the car, I pulled the wire thru, behind the carpet and under the heater assembly over to the driver side.
- I've done this many times before so it wasn't too hard (but it was the hardest part of the installation). If you have never done automotive wiring, you might need some help.
- I ran the wire next to the blank plugs next to your blind spot monitor switch.
- You have to remove a small bezel that runs across but it was just a few screws.
- Push out both the BSM switch and a blank switch plate.
- You only need a ground and parking light source so I just got that from the BSM switch.
- I grounded the switch to a nearby screw and plugged in the wire to the foglights.
- Fired it up and everything worked like a charm.
Wrap Up:
- Replace whatever you had to remove from the inside of your car.
- Install the radiator cover and wheel wells.
- When you are finishing up the wheel wells, you will notice a small hole just below where the foglights are.
- This is for adjusting the height.
- I used a regular Phillips but a torx probably works better.

Picture of switch
Here is a shot of the switch. It is a OEM copy so it looks and fits great. My only complaint is that is has orange backlighting and the rest of the car is white/blue.

So I just got this installed with the stalk. I was wondering, when my head lights turn on and the foglights turn on I got the notification green lights showing them on. But when fog lamps are on by themselves nothing lights up on my dash. Also I am afraid I will forget to shut them off because the car turns of the fog lamps still stay on. The feature I have for my lights as soon as I open the door they shut off when engine is off on auto,
can this be done somehow with fog lamps.
I had this installed at 180customs btw, which was pretty pricey $400

I know this thread is a little old but have some questions.
When I got my IS350 F Sport a year ago (one of the first in Miami, lots of head turning lol) I was trying to install aftermarket Fog Lights but gave up. I'm now looking around and see lots of people that have done it.
My questions, are these installs made in a way that the Fog Lights go OFF when you turn OFF the engine?
I'm thinking to get just the JDM covers and do a custom install using HID or LED aftermarket fogs, but I want the fogs to ALWAYS turn ON when the headlights go ON, and obviously, OFF when they are OFF, but also, want them OFF if the engine goes OFF WITHOUT using any switch.
I know I need a relay that I would wire it directly without a switch, but the question is, where do I get the signal from so the relay goes ON when the headlights are ON?
If anybody knows...
And also, would someone tell me the actual diameter for the opening for the fog light lamp on the covers? I'm asking so I know what fog lights to order that somehow fit those openings.
Thanks a lot!
