Navigation, Street view

There's no street view in the navigation that I'm aware of.

My nav just naturally had a split screen view (normal map view and street view) and shows you the exit and lane to take while you drive. I didn't do anything to get it to do that. The street view has been accurate so far. It is animated but the street signs it shows in street view are what you see here.

Guess the US navs do not feature Google street view...to me it appeared to be a little more complicated to get Street view to work, it works now, not sure if all of the steps are required though:
-create an account at my.lexus.eu
-turn on bluetooth internet tethering on your phone (unless you use WiFi, i.e your phones WiFi hotspot or you have the WiFi accessory with SIM installed) to enable your nav to use your phones internet connectivity
-while your nav is connected to your phone via BT or WIFI:
-go to connected services, it will prompt you for username and password, enter your my.lexus.eu credential
-think at some place in the settings you can also set it to remember the credentials so you don't have to enter them at each use of street view

Sounds like I need to clarify. It does not do Google Street View where you see actual photos that you can rotate just like on the PC ...as far as I know of. The street view the nav shows you is an animated drawing that appears accurate if you are simply looking for the turn off you need. If you are looking for a specific building in a sea of buildings, like how many use Google Street View, than no.
I do have my phone connected but I did not sign up to anything other than Pandora.

yeah, it's an accessory, but it's not a prerequisite for Google street view, got mine to work with both the bluetooth tethering and wifi hotspot of my phone (either or is fine that is, no need for both at a time
then again, the nav works so precisely so far, never really felt the need for it
