Question, can the exhaust tip come off? Reason I'm asking is because I ordered the AIMGAIN type 1 rear diffuser and just seeing if I can install this exhaust along with it.

if you have the radio turned off you will most certainly notice the exhaust. Even at a reasonable volume you can hear the growl of the exhaust. It's not loud enough to be obnoxious, but it's definitely noticeable

The exhaust sounds exactly like how the intake sounds in S+ mode. I wish it sounded more like the Lexus HKS from 2IS.

I gotta disagree with you there. It only "sounds" that way because of my GReddy intake. In person even with the intake you can distinctly hear the exhaust. You really have to hear it in person to appreciate it.

No wonder it sounded like intake noise. So the exhaust sound is barely noticeable?

+1 It does sound identical to S+ mode.
Difficult to make the justification for $1000+ installation and labor.

Awesome exhaust. Not too loud. I bet it hits deeper exhaust notes in person.

In regards to the pricing + labor above comment...labor can be done yourself if you buy a little ramp thing or left the car...it's literally bolt on and off. Pricing can be negotiated with Lexus they will get it all the way down to Sewell pricing or less trust me.

For those claiming is sounds the same as in sport+ mode then we just have to wait to have someone install one without an f sport or intake so you can hear the actual difference.

Overall I am extremely happy and have gotten nothing but compliments

The exhaust note is definitely there...even within the cabin at low RPMs and cruising you can simply hear the growl from the exhaust
