I actually like the grille to be bit wider. On 3IS F Sport close up it looks like it's about right side but if you look from little farther grille seems to be too narrow.

The width on LS grille looks just about right!

Well, spindle grill in 3IS F-Sport is nice but the front facia as one piece is a bit over the top. IMHO Lexus just a bit overworked itself in that area. The sides and the back, however, are awesome! I love them.

As far as RC F, I think it is the best looking sport's car that the Lexus has designed as of today (even better than LFA in my mind). Everything seems just right on RC F. Perfect harmony of every component that not only gives an aggressive look but also functions as designed. Good job with RC F!

I have received a lot of positive comments on the IS styling. In fact, more than any car I've owned. Comments such as great lines, styling that really stands out, and your car looks like an expensive import.

Lexus has done a nice job, and the upcoming RC will likely be well received. I may have to buy one, as I really miss driving a coupe.

I love the spindle grill. It definitely has turned many heads on the road.

The haters are the ones who are relying on pics from the internet. When they see it in person they are awestruck

Completely agree on both counts. I think the spindle grille on the 3IS (especially the F-Sport) is over the top, but the rest of the car looks great. It seems to fit comfortably though, on the RC F, which is both distinctive and attractive without overwhelming the car.

Love the spindle grill. Have to give credit for Lexus on the bold design.
All others are looking the same....no wow factor.

This is exactly how I felt! I didn't like the look of the new IS at first but when I saw it up close, I absolutely fell in love!

Hell no. They design wise finally have a identity now. Before this they had no identity, just a generic grill every other car had. This is the lexus equivalent of the BMW kidney grills

Yes, and Lexus is using the grill design wisely by creating unique model body styles. BMW has the same sausage available in small, medium and large (3, 5 and 7 series).

Same sausage lol. Ain't that the truth. Every BMW sedan I see on the road is boring!

So, does the new design of the grills suppose to allow for the car to eat the pedestrian, as opposed to throwing them onto the windshield and then over the car?
