Maybe a RWD 3IS Wasn't Such a Good Idea!!!!

I live just north of Boston, and when I bought my car in January (RWD IS350 F-Sport) it started to snow on the drive back from the dealership. As soon as I hit the first patch of snow I was instantly full of regret.Needless to say my car sat in the driveway for 2 weeks while the city removed snow. So I can agree with how terribly dangerous it is to have one of these with out proper snow tires. So for this winter I am DEFINITELY buying snow tires. No question about it.
You won't believe the difference!

I live in northern canada with lots of snow. Blizzaks are good but i find the thread wears out really fast compared to Michellin X-Ice. Both are good tires, Blizzaks drives little softer in the case where there is no snow. i fin d michellin little stiffer. Nokian winter tires are really good too. Used all three but best price for the bang i found is x-ice imo. Can really find cheap ones online for sale.

I've a 370z with continental DWS tires. I live in Northern VA, so I know the snow you're talking about.
I've used it successfully when we have 2~3 inches of snow, more than that I'm risking it. So yeah, tires make the difference.
I used to have the stock tires and the car wouldn't move with half an inch of snow on the ground.
