SHOUT OUT: 3IS AWD F Sport is AMAZING in Snow
#16
I don't think the car is particularly good in the snow but I know for certain that with a light dusting of snow on the stock all seasons, stopping distances are drastically longer and the tail really loves to kick out.
In the heavy snow the AWD and the stock tires are adequate and there is minimal slippage but trying to stop is another story. Coupled with a front heavy engine and all-seasons stopping on a downhill slope is terrifying to say the least.
I am going to buy X-Ice 3 for the next winter season and I'm going to try to tough out the rest of the season on my stock Bridgestones. Then again I can take out the Range Rover if the snow is too deep/heavy.

Had very minimal slippage in the recent pair of east coast snow storms in my AWD on stock tires. Far better than the front wheel drive 2013 Malibu I've been driving for the past two weeks, which was slipping in the lightest dusting.
