- Is a trade in involved?
- What is the msrp?
- What is adjusted cap cost including the $700 lease initiation fee?
- What is the residual value %?
- What lease money factor is being used?
I know we are a different market here in CA but it doesn't sound like you a getting much off msrp if anything.
All the info I mentioned should be easily provided by the dealer - if not, they are being shady.

Msrp incl options, adj cap cost, residual, money factor, etc.
Also, straight deal or trade in involved?

It doesn't sound so great but to be sure, you need to provide:

- What is the residual value %?
- What lease money factor is being used?

Thanks Bill,
I've spoke to my salesman, he acted kind of shady now....keep pushing me to the car and I don't like that. I'm considering cancel the deal with him.
BTW, NY Sales tax is 8.875%

You're doing the right thing by researching as much as you can before inking the deal. Try to get some other dealers involved to get some competition going - you might see the pricing get a little more flexible. Also, try to hold off on finalizing the deal til the end of the month - that will give you some leverage too.

$400 is still more than I calculated, so it looks like they are trying to sneak something else into the lease. If you decide to go with them (or anyone), make sure to read the paperwork completely, as it can be more confusing than a normal finance purchase. Before I learned to calculate leases (good to know before walking into a dealership) I used this iPhone app to help with my past ones. iLeaseCarPro

BTW, besides with the F Sport package, the car also comes with Navi, premium and luxury package....I'm not good with what comes with what...but that's what I've been told from the salesman.....Would it still a good deal for 400 even with 2500 hundred down, 10k/ year?

I just got another offer from my salesman. This time is $2500 out of the pocket included tax and fees, and $365 monthly payment. for 27 month lease, 10k miles per year. First month payment is waived. So what do you guys think? I think its way better than the first one he offered me
