My 3is driver door makes a sound when going over medium to harsh bumps. No other doors make a sound. What do you think the problem is?

Could be the door lock mechanism not making a perfectly tight fit on the latch. With the 3RX, some folks including myself have had that issue. Wrapping the latch once or twice over with a quality heavy duty duct tape or Gorilla tape may help.

I have that too, it could be the plastic insert with the window switches. One thing I've learnt to pinpoint the rattles is to place your hand over each part you think could squeak/rattle and hold it going over bumps. If the rattle persists, it's not there. Proceed to next point of rattle...Drives me nuts that this car would even have issues like this, but there is no other feeling on earth that's better than finding the source of rattle and fixing it!
