How many amps required to jumpstart the 3IS from a dead battery?
The new Jumpack from Cobra looks like a good option (size wise) for me, but I'm not sure if it has enough juice to be able to bring my 3IS back to life from a dead battery. The Jumpack has a peak current of 400A.
I recently had a run-in with a dead battery and now I want to invest in a portable jumpstart device but they all seem really big and bulky. If I really need the extra power they provide, then so be it. But if I can use the Cobra Jumpack, it would be preferred.
Here's a link to the an article about the Jumpack in case nobody has seen it yet.
