As much as I like the F-sport Im not sure I can justify the price difference, and the first one she offered has $3500 in packages, and is black. Is that the best I can do? I guess I figured she'd be able to get me closer to $42OTD for the "base" or $44/$45OTD for the F-sport. Is that unrealistic? I'm also planning on leasing an RX350 for my wife at the same time

Those seem pretty typical to what I'm seeing lately in Omaha. I don't think their are any rebates or dealer cash on the IS's right now, and demand seems to be pretty high, so they aren't budging on prices very much. That second one for 49,579.68 is actually a better deal. I'm seing most of our F sport 350's without Pre collision go for only about $500 less than yours.

ouch, thats not what I expected at all! I'm going down there tomorrow to see if I can find some wiggle room in there. So the one to focus on would be the F-sport, maybe trying to get it down to around $44k before fees?

It's worth taking a stab at. It seems to be very very different how much discount each dealership is giving. We don't usually budge more than $1,500 off the sticker unless it's end of the month and we really need the car deal.

She's not giving you any deals there... like, at all.

Guessing you have limited options of dealer competition which could be driving that and being on an island means going out of state is less likely. If you are trying to work two deals at the same time though she should be more willing to negotiate with you. I would work that angle hard because she is not doing you any favors with either of those deals.

As far as price difference on those two go, it's not all f-sport. It is nav, vgrs and f-sport.

I got my fsport like your second option without VGRS and precollision for low 43s, with the much desirable white on red combo. If you want the fsport then 44 is a solid price but nothing more than that.

This is all retail pricing. IMO you shouldn't pay more than the invoice cost for the car.

I just got over $2,200 off MSRP on my IS350 RWD F Sport with BSM/Steering from a dealer in the DC area. The advantage I had was that I am a USAA member and the dealership agreed to their best price before I even walked in the door. 9-)

I was much closer to $47000 on the F sport I bought in March, although they have come down from the $49k they were at a few months prior

best deal she gave me was for the obsidian/parchment non f-sport w/ a credit score of 815

msrp 43149
cap cost 41949
3500 down
1500 rebate
MF - .0015
Residual - 59%
~$2k in taxes/fees
36mo term
499/mo

she wasn't trying to give me a deal, and insisted that I had to put 3500 down. Apparently the agreement with the bank is that if they do a lease, then they have to have $3500 down. I told them if I was going to drive off the lot today I wouldn't be paying them $3500 we left at a stalemate and I walked out
