I was putting groceries in the trunk and an older couple asked if this was the new IS. They admired how great it looks in person and really liked the white with red interior

As I was pulling into work today, a few big shots from global corporate (think $10 million/yr compensation plus) were walking in to the building from their limo and checked out my IS350 F-Sport. They caught the front end and then saw them checkout out the back as the tail lights lit up.

Seems that you are tipping the boys even before they park the car

Yesterday I let my dad drive my 3is and We stopped to buy a Gatorade and pump gas at chevron on the way back a lady in her 30's was flirting with him (my dad is 53). I thought it was so funny and told him he needs to get a 3is as well.

Never got this attention n my 335i
I got some looks initially but after I put the RSR downs on it and blacked out the emblems i have had 4 people stop me at random times to ask me about my car. One guy was like what did you do to it, something looks different than the other ones i have seen. The best was a guy in a brand new black 435i stopped in front of my car and stared at it for about 15 seconds. He didnt realize i was sitting there waiting for my food to be ready. That made me feel great about making the switch. Once i get my new CV3's i cant even imagine how much more attention i am going to get.

Friends/neighbors/strangers compliment and love the exterior and interior design. Though they always overrate the HP and say something to the extent of "that has like 250HP doesn't it"? (IS250)

Lexus Champion
On Sunday evening I was driving home from the Seahawks game (go Hawks!), on the freeway in Seattle. I was passed by an LS430 in the carpool lane. The front seat passenger kept craning his neck looking back at the front end of my car. Whether he liked it or not I do not know, but he definitely noticed it. I'll take getting noticed as a compliment.

I always noticing people looking but the best by far was a homeless middle aged man who "complimented" me by screaming "LET ME HEAR THAT ***** ROAR" when I was driving through skid row. loll

Chalk this compliment up in the WTF!!?? section....yesterday my wife took our 2014 IS 350 F Sport to work and someone genuinely asked if it was the new Dodge Dart. I literally busted out laughing when she told me haha.

I've gotten compliments on the rioja red interior from every single person that's stepped into my car - I wasn't sure on it at first, but definitely liking it now.

Had one guy last week ask what i paid for the car, and he guessed $70K... lol. (I only drive a 250.)
Just got gas this evening and some middle-aged guy walked over to the pump and surprised me with a modded Lexus conversation. Guy was probably 40-45, and started talking about his old '99 GS being slammed on 20x9/20x10.5 wheels... but then he had kids and got a Honda Pilot lol. Its definitely a conversation starter just about anywhere. Most people say that Lexus got it right with the new generation body.
