Default Chrome turn Signal bulbs

Has anyone done this and fixed the hyperblink issue?

I would like to do front turn signals, and rear red turn signals.

I replaced the rear turn signals with LED bulbs, The front I'm not sold on switching them just yet because the front bulbs are visible and the LED turn signals are pretty big.

To prevent hyperflash there is a decoder module that connects to the bulb. For the back signals there is a nice little channel the decoder module can fit in (it is fairly large) once you pull the entire turn signal housing off the car.

This is where i bought everything.

So front and rear will give off the hyperblink?

And what do you mean by 'The front I'm not sold on switching them just yet because the front bulbs are visible and the LED turn signals are pretty big."?

Because LED lights draw less power than filament you need to add a resistor to prevent hyperflash.
You can buy a pair on ebay for as low as $7.

Do sponsored vendors sell better quality than ebay?
No they are all made in china.

If you take a look at your front headlights the directional bulb is visible. and the standard incandescent bulbs are nice and small. The LED bulbs are pretty long so they might be visible when looking at the front of the car, i honestly haven't tried it out yet.

The back turn signal housings are shaped in a way that you are unable to see the actually turn signal bulb.

As for hyperblink that decoder module i linked to fixes the problem, that's what i have in the back.

Is the module the same as the resistor?

If I only need the resistor for front and rear, where do i install the resistor?

The module is just a resistor with plug and play sockets.
if you get the resistor you connect one end to + and the other to -.
Do a search on google and you can find the diagram.

You can see the LED bulb in my passenger side signal. old picture however, I did change them out to the CREE LED, they really aren't that easily visible. I'll get some pics with the newer bulbs tomorrow.

remove 2 bolts on each tail light (bolts are hidden by plastic taps where the tail lights and trunk meet)and pull towards the back of the car to remove them.
