Thanks to everyone who answered.

About the JoeZ exhaust : I'm not sure about it because the car is a lease, and I don't want to have trouble when returning it. Actually that's an issue I'm discussing with the dealer right now... I'm not even sure it's a good/reasonable idea for me to install the F-Sport exhaust! Another issue with the Joe Z exhaust is that I don't get your nice prices because I'm in Canada. I doubt I'll get a much better deal than the F-Sport.

About the intake : I'm afraid such a mod would be a bit too ricer! I may be wrong though... Also IMO the 3IS already has a great engine noise. It's only missing the exhaust growl!

Thanks Stitch626. Would you say the GReddy Intake and F-Sport Exhaust are both quiet at normal throttle, eg. highway cruising or normal city driving? That's important for me because my daily commute to and from work is 85% highway, literally, and barely floor it there. I'm looking for something that wakes up under heavy throttle only for some weekend fun!

Yes it's very quiet/subtle for daily commuting!

Do you have a video of your exhaust?

With my F-Sport exhaust and Takada intake, my 350 puts out a nice roar when I stomp the throttle. A very nice throaty roar, not some loud ****ty ricey sound like these old civics and what not give.

I love my F-sport exhaust and I would by it over and over again. I was in the exact same position as you, wanting to add to the sportiness of the car with a nice exhaust note, but without being overbearing. I was really on the fence, but there's no way to know for sure without trying it out, and videos just don't do it justice. The F-Sport exhaust is truly perfect IMO. I just love the way it sounds, and I've been getting tons of compliments on it as well. Install is extremely simple (unbolt the old one, bolt on the new one.. no welding). The part itself is ordinarily 12 month warranty, but if installed by a dealer, it is covered under the car's bumper-to-bumper warranty 50k/48mo...that is worth paying for an hour of labor IMO.

Where is everyone buying theirs? Best price I've found is in the $1100 range, which is still pretty $$$ for an axle back.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know about potential warranty voiding issues with an exhaust mod?

your warranty can only be voided for that particular component if the aftermarket mod was the direct cause of the failure.
