I have an annoying rattle which is getting worse the more I drive. It appears to emanate from near the glovebox but I can't place it. I've emptied the glovebox and the rattle is still there and even driven with the glovebox door open and it still rattles. Is there a known issue in this area? I've tried searching on the forum but I'm not having much luck.

Not heard of this rattle before. Try removing the shelf in the glove box. If you already tried that I don't know.

Sounds exactly like the rattle I had in my GS. The dealer fixed it and said that it was a loose bolt for the dash.

I get a weird squeaking noise whenever I go over a bump that got a lot worse yesterday. It's from the plastic part right before the touch mouse that's a little raised. I pressed down on it and get the same squeak.

Past IS and some other Lexus models have this notorious small rattle that comes from the glovebox latch and/or the tray inside it. Leave the glovebox open while driving to test for any noises.
