Other way to get rid of front plate, need advice
so heres my situation, my dealership had already drilled holes in my spindle grill before i even started negotiating for my car. I didnt special order it, i just went to the dealership and it was there. I figured i could live with the front plate, but i want to try something new. heres what i was considering doing,
The license plate bracket made 4 holes in the grill . so my plan was to put back the screws and put black screw caps over them and hopefully they will blend in with the grill a little.
Then i was planning on using black zipties and using that to attach my front plate to the grill, because i dont want to chance going without it because NY requires it and i was chosen to stop at a random stop the other day. Officer gave my friend a ticket for not having a plate, dont need that headache.
I would opt for the grimmspeed relocation, but honestly not a fan of how it looks.
Anyone else have any ideas or suggestions? thanks

Honestly, if your grille is already drilled for the front plate I would just use that instead of using zip ties. The holes are there already so just use the front plate to cover them.
I would use bumper plugs or black screws only if I was going for the offset look with the Grimmspeed.

In my state we are not required to have a front plate, but I wanted to mount something else so I used two of the butterfly type hollow wall fasteners. They slip through the grill openings then open up to secure what I wanted to mount, and before I used them, I checked to be sure I could remove them and not have them fall down between the grill and radiator.
