2014 IS 350 (F Sport) or an Audi S5 (Prestige Plus)?
Hi all, pretty new here. Quick question on what to buy: I'm 'guessing' that this is a somewhat biased group (I could be wrong...) but I'm trying to decide between a 2014 IS 350 (F Sport) or an Audi S5 (Prestige Plus). I love the speed and handling of the Audi but the Lexus is lower in price, unique in character and can get-up-and-go pretty well on its own (just not quite as well as the supercharged Audi). Btw, I currently drive a 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. Thoughts?

Tough choice... Driven both and own the Lexus. I'd just say it comes to if you think the Audi is worth the extra premium to have. Both are really good cars in different ways. The price is nearly 10K apart tho. The only thing that would keep from going audi is that the B8 Platform is getting dated and a new one may be out soon.

agreed tough choice but it really depends on what your more into. Power and performance wise, I would take the AUDI over the lexus. The IS350 is pretty quick for a NA motor, but its new styling is so much ahead of the audi and handling of the AWD is extremely good. Plus maintenance of the IS is much more affordable than the audi's IMO. I would chose the lexus over the audi

ballin? no. i mean, there are many of us on here who chose the IS not based on how much less or more it cost between in-segment cars but rather on a huge conglomeration of facets from interior console design to exhaust tone -- the minutiae that make the car, any car, worth it to the vehicle's owner.

fully loaded the S5 prestige can be around $65K thats a lot more than a fully loaded 350 F sport
i think you get a lot more bang for the buck with the lexus though, personal opinion, S5 is still a really nice car

Hey apples and oranges have a lot in common lol
If your going to spend 65k on a s5, why not get a base IS-F. Starts around 63 and you get all the same amenities as the newer IS. 2IS style and comfort but performance and power is there
