Default I can attest to the brakes

Some guy who apparently didn't see me, pulled across two lanes directly in front of me today and I must say......the brakes worked amazingly well. I've never been in a situation like that with anti-lock brakes before where I've actually slammed on the brakes and felt them work.

Non F-Sport brake pads would've worked just as well, right? My plan is to not put F-Sport pads back on when I need a replacement.

Maybe I won't complain about the brake dust for awhile.

I loved the brakes on the 07 IS 250 AWD. Especially with summer tires. I could just imagine how nice the new cars must be!

put better tires on and youll see real stopping power. Tires are most of the braking power of a car

I have a IS 350 non- F sport and the breaking is amazing. It brings the 306 horse power to stop very quickly and smoothly.

IS350 non fsport... I'm suprised people are knocking the brakes, it's one if the best features of the car IMO.

just meant better overall braking. Felt like it gripped more and stopped faster and smoother than my Lexus. This was a 2010 C300. I'm not knocking on the IS brakes, just felt more confident with the C300 brakes.

i can second that, had some idiot blow a stop sign when coming on to a merge on the highway. slammed the 350 sport brakes and there was no delay. the car just straight up stopped. i was so proud LOL. but more happy it saved me from an accident, i would have had to kill the idiot who ran the stop sign

4TehNguyen said it, the brakes are only half of the equation, and possibly less than that. The quality of the tires play a huge role in stopping distance.

I plan on getting different tires once these wear down, probably Michelin Pilot SS or Conti's but I'm concerned about the brake pad replacement.

With good tires will I still stop as well with non F-Sport pads??

When we're slamming the brakes, luckily there was no one behind us or else their brakes wouldn't have done such a great job
