Been looking at leasing and was reading up on MSDs.
Is there any reason NOT to use them to lower your MF/interest rate if you have the money available to do the max? I can't really find any downsides as it literally sounds like you are giving the dealer your money to hold and you get a pretty decent return on interest? Kind of like a CD in a bank?

I'm talking to a broker here in Denver about leasing an IS 250 with 0 down for....$550/month.
Everyone here so far is under that range and most of you are getting IS 350s...So what gives?
Should I just go to Lexus and talk to them?

Try using truecar.com to lower the cap cost.

A lot of times brokers will take the difference between what they negotiate for and what you pay. I'd go do the work myself or find another broker.

A lot of the prices you see are from CA and NY/NJ where there are a ton of dealers, this makes it more competitive. Without a broker, you could walk in and get an IS250 for maybe $350/mo w/ $1300 down (as advertised by Lexus in Southern California). With nothing down, that might make it $400ish? Even with tax you're well under $500 without any negotiating.

The deal here is 27 months $2000 down first month free which is 349/month.
