Sorry to break this to you too I pay about a 1000 every six months through USAA and I have 14' IS 350 AWD and 13" Chevy Tahoe... 1500 seems a little high for one car, I would look elsewhere...
Do you rent or own a home? you can get discounts for having renters or homeowner insurance through the same company.
Family military or veteran is the way to get USAA not sure if you have a family member or were yourself.
Good luck!

Damn man, I think my zip has a lot to do with it. It's oldpeopleville USA around here and they are always causing accidents.

(side note: I was checking out your instagram and it's funny I went from an Acura TSX to my IS too lol)

I rent my house, don't have anyone to get USAA though, I tried a while back to get their America Express credit card.

So I logged on to Esurance this morning to update my Address (just moved) And using their "Impact Calculator" my new zip code would drop my 6 month rate by $40. So I was like sweet, every bit helps.

Then I went in, and updated my address and pressed "Save Changes" it calculated my new rate, and came back with a premium difference of + $47!

I'm going to try and get an allstate quote today. I don't even know what to do at this point, it just keeps going up.

Unfortunately, your rate will probably go up with 3IS. It was cheaper with 2IS for me as well but not as cheap as $390. My rate went up by $300. Farmers increase it because they said the code for the car has changed. It's expensive car to repair they claim. It didn't make sense to me because it has more safety features.

Well that stinks I will post my new rate as soon as I get it, hopefully will be in my 3IS by the end of the month.

I pay ~$700 single 24 year old male Clean Record via Progressive. I turn 25 soon I'm hoping that helps.

100K/300K/100K
Gap Insurance
$500 Deductibles

Pretty Well Loaded 2014 IS 250 AWD Fsport

I was paying ~$540 for the same coverage for my 2013 Kia Optima SXL. They said the car/Lexus is expensive to fix.

Renters (50K personal insurance plus riders for computers/electronics and firearms) insurance with Progressive, Motorcycle is under a different company.

I pay around $1,800 a year for my 2014 IS350 and my 2011 Toyota highlander together with over double the coverage that the OP was quoted at the top. I live in the San Fancisco Bay Area which is also not always the cheapest place to insure a car but I thought my rate is pretty good. My insurance is AAA. I'm 43 married, no tickets or accident. I also have my homeowners through them too so I am getting a multi policy discount as well.
