Holy crap, that is extremely cheap for the PPF... Even if he isn't using XPEL that is cheap regardless - I paid over 30% of that amount he quoted you and didn't get as much coverage as you are getting. I would have gone with the 30% tint though, 35% is too light...
XPEL goes for double the price down here in Texas!

Price is the best I've found in MN on both PPF and Tint but only concern is it doesn't seem like they are authorized Xpel installer. Does that mean 10 year warranty will not be honored by Xpel? I asked about their warranty in general about their work and film and he replied "Lifetime nation-wide." not sure what that means.
Here are pictures of their work.

I think they are having a big sale. They are discounting a lot things 50%+. Formula One Pinnacle series window tint normally cost $360 but they had a deal on Groupon for $160. They also had PPF packages discounted 50%+ but they let me modify it to include below for $900:
- Full Hood
- Full Fender
- Full Bumper
- Side Mirrors
- A-Pillar
- Roof Line
- Headlight
- DRL
- Fog lights
- Door Edges
- Door Cups
- Rear Bumper Ledge

I put HO Ceramic on my car over 7 years ago. In 7 years in the Houston heat and Sun it has help up like the day it was installed. No scratches on the inside, no wrinkles, no fading that I can tell. It was expensive when I had it installed but apparently it was worth it. The clear bra I had installed at the same time did not hold up (Venture Tape), and neither did its replacement.
I'm sure in 7 years there are even better products, but it is worth it to pay for a premium product.
Oh and the heat rejection is great.

Ok so this week i am getting my 3IS 350 F-Sport tinted ideally at 20%, i wanted to use Huper Optik Ceramic but i cant find a dealer in Arizona. Initially found one(Dannys) but they no longer carry the Huper Optik products. So far out the places i've called my choices are 3M and Suntek any reason to choose one brand over the other? I am looking for heat/ir reduction in addition to the light reduction.

I just had 18% CXP put on all the way around (except windshield of course), here is what it looks like. Paid $400, once i get some of the little nicks and such taken care of on the front bumper from driving across country i am going to get a PPF clear bra put on. Though the shop that did my tint quoted me at $1,300 for the PPF clear bra for the full nose fender to fender and full hood, is that high?

Yeah though it may not be legal if you put something like CR 70% or 50% it will drastically reduce the amount of IR and Solar Heat that comes into the car from the front. Plus if you that or something similar and darker like CXP on the sides and rear you should be running cool and comfy inside during the high heat times with little AC output.
Ray G, can you take a picture from inside looking out the front? I curious how it looks with the 50% film on there. I am considering putting CR 70% on my windshield purely for heat reasons here in Arizona.
