lol number of the house but no street address. John is talking about the first picture. But that's Canlas Mobile Tinting, either way he takes his clients to his house for tints. I know those people reputable tinters in the sj who also tinted my 3is

Tint Dilemma! :(
Really like the classy look of having tints, but still being able to see into the car, which is why I have 50's on my Citrin Black on Amaro Brown 750Li, but for some reason I'm hesitant to go with 50's on my Nebula Grey on Rioja Red IS350 and it's killing me that the next grade darker are 35's. Tint guy says he has 43’s, but that they’d be $100 more!?
In short, I DO NOT want a ticket and I’m concerned the 35's may bring on same, but I'm uneasy with the 50's on the IS, as it's a smaller car than the 750Li (more easy to see into) and it doesn't have power side and rear window shades that can be rolled up on the press of a button for added privacy. Otherwise, I believe the glass on the 750Li is darker to begin with (which I'm happy with with 50's on), as it's double pane.
Are 35's something police commonly have issue with?

Thanks, Gentlemen.
15's are DARK!
eyeball, can you please post a couple of shot of the side of your car so I can tell the difference between 55's (50's) and 35's, side-by-side? From outside, can you easily see what's laying on your front two seats on a bright sunny day? How about on your rear seats?

20% is all ive had for the past 20 years in my cars and i only got 1 ticket for 50 bucks. for that price ill continue to take my chances.
my advise is to go 20% some call it 17% because factory glass has a slight tint, but it's the common dark tint but not limo tint!
20% will be dark enough to see there is a person in the car but unable to make out facial details in the day light hours.
any darker makes it hard to see out at night
