I guess everyone talked me into it because I have an appointment in a couple of weeks to get an expel film installed. The guy is the Lexus recommended person for this in my area. I feel pretty comfortable with the 10 year warranty and he definitely seems to know what he's doing. he also said he will just cut the film a little big and wrap it around body panels so I won't have issues with dirt getting caught on the edges and being visible.

I'm shopping around in the Austin area for an installer, too. My '15 UW/Black IS350 FS should be here in the next week or so... and this is the FIRST thing I'm doing!

You guys are such a wealth of knowledge!

Just have your paint polished before the install, to ensure perfect paint and reflection underneath. Lesson learned for me and DO NOT let the dealer wash your car or take the wrap off. Just tell them to give it too you as is.YOu can pull the wrap off yourself.

Good to know. I'll actually be getting the Xpel installed at an Xpel dealer - not the Lexus dealer.

Thanks for the info

I have it half way up my hood, full front, lights, mirrors and door cups.

Nice, Antnie2418! Where in CT are you? I'm in CT as well

Getting Xpel clear bra put on my UW F-Sport today by the guys at Dynamic Autoworks here in Houston. I'm impressed by how unnoticeable the film is on the car, more pics of the Xpel film being installed on their facebook: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...16286541923967
