I am wanting to buy Niche Verona black wheels in this size:
18x8 40mm front
18x9.5 40mm rear
Right now, I have stock 17s, square set up, on the RWD 2014 is250. Would I have to change anything besides, obviously, needing new tires? Also, what size tires would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!
-Chris

18X9.5 would be a 265/35/18
You might consider a slightly wider wheel on the front...maybe an 18x8.5 if available.

TSW and Verde also have a similar style.

Depending on the rim design you may or may not clear the caliper if your IS is anything other than a 250.
Is there any option for the offset? For example, can you get a +32 or +35.
Is the car lowered, or do you plan on lowering it?

The rear you would fine...the front is a little bit of a question mark.

Worst case if the front doesn't clear then a small spacer may be needed.

That should give you a nice ride for awhile and take care of the rear alignment issues since you'll have tons of Camber in the back.
With the front it will have some adjustment for Camber because it's an AWD...so cross your fingers it's enough.

You should be good...but considering the age and you're going with Superdowns, if funds are available, replace all the struts and install a set of SPC rear cambers arms.

If not, then it's still worth to do all of them.
The front have to come out anyways, so there shouldn't be any extra labor.
If one rear is already getting replaced, then it's just a little extra labor to replace the other.
