im driving is200t f sport and the other member has the same setup with lowered suspension and doesnt rub unless I am missing something.

I'm looking into running a square setup, Enkei Rajin 18 x 8.5 with 35mm or 40 mm back spacing.

Will I be able to use my stock size tires?

Niche Form Charcoal M157 with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (Re-Branded Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003)
2016 IS350 F-sport AWD
Fronts: 19x8.5 et 35mm wrapped 235/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 et 35 wrapped with 275/30/19

I plan to keep this on stock suspension at least for the rear. Winter frost heaving of the roads make road dips to rule out lowering on this summer daily driver

\

Slight rubbing on dips in the road where the rear fender meets the bumper with cargo / passengers but not as much with just me. No rubbing issues at the front. I used to have 25mm Burger Spacers on all 4. I think the 25mm spacers on stock wheels poked out more than this setup. On my "moguls" test road, the stock with spacers setup rubbed waaaay more than this setup.

Yeah...I'm not sure how much I agree with all that.

19x9.5 +38 to +42 will clear no problem with the right size tire...stock suspension or moderate drop (like RSR Downs).
19x10 +38 is gonna be an issue though, especially if lowered. You'd be stretching tires or cambering the rear more.

I would agree with this as a guideline: 19x9.5 +40 255/30 or 19x10 +47 265/30
But other variables have to be considered. Not everyone is trying to bag an IS and air out til the frame is on the floor...that's what those specs suggest to me at least.

Just barely clears in the rear, but rubs in the front on light/moderate compression. Going to need to roll/pull the front fenders. In hindsight, I really should have just went with 225 in the front.
Update: Front fenders rolled, trimmed fender liner, relocated bumper tabs. No more rubbing at all, plenty of room. Still wish I would have just gone with 235 in the front.

A very SAFE guideline. I can't see those specs rubbing under any circumstances, regardless of the height, tire make/model chosen, or people in the car/dips. I BARELY rub, and those specs are nearly 20mm inboard of where I'm at.

19 x 10 +40 • 275/30/19 • TW - 9.7 • OD - 25.5 = very slight rub on big dips
19 x 10 +47 • 265/30/19 • TW - 9.2 • OD - 25.3 = no rub with any tire under any circumstances

Looking good! About to purchase different wheels but with the same specs . Where did you get the roof/rear window spoiler, and did it come painted? Link would be appreciated if possible.I like how subtle this one is, would like the same on my ultra white. Hows fitment? The one I have now was cheap from ebay and came up about an inch short on both sides when centered.

Thanks! I do like to keep the differences from stock subtle. I'm currently trying to figure out the side splitters. The rear spoiler and rear window spoiler were pre painted from ebay. I just searched 083 ultra white to see what would show up.

Trunk spoiler
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/18-Painted-f...pX~FCk&vxp=mtr

Rear window Spoiler
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/2014-2015-LE...1VeqKZ&vxp=mtr

The paint matched very well. When I got my front lip painted, the painter guy pointed out the spoilers matched better than the front bumper to fender... which is factory. But I couldn't tell until until he pointed it out. Now i can't un-see it lol

For fitment the spoilers come straight and require some heat to bend to the contours of the car. I used a lot of masking tape to hold the bend in place before I peeled the red 3m backing bit by bit. I left the masking tap on for about 24 hours before I peeled it off to ensure the 3m tape "cured" . It's been 3 year and still holding.

That seems to be same one I have on now, which I had to heat and bend, and the paint matched well. Except mine was about 2 inches to short. Interesting, these are probably hit and miss. I've decided to order this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/262128705323?ul_noapp=true, which a few members have used in build threads.

Thanks for the info!

What's up fellas. Would a set of Work Zeast ST1 18 x 8.0 +35 and 18 x 9.0 +40 R disk fit on my 2015 250 F sport? I am currently running a set of Continental Extreme Contact Sports in stock Fsport sizes. Plan to install RSR down or half downs in the future.

Thanks

Stupid question, but will I be able to use the stock lug nuts on a set of Enkei Raijin's I just ordered? They wheels are stock size.

I havent had any rub, front or back and I've hit some decent bumps. I also have 4 brand new shocks that are a little stiffer than factory.

I'm running exact wheel specs on rear except with a 275 tire. No rub... Dont worry

Short answer, no.
The Enkei wheels have a tapered hole for the wheel nuts...the factory nuts are designed for a drilled hole that accepts a shank.
On the pic below the factory nut is the center one...you would need ones like the one on the left for the Enkei wheel.

The red area actually indicates where the clamping force is of the nut.

Awesome thanks man. Do you recommend any good ones?
