I know some on the forum have the Superdowns, so it may be helpful if those folks can chime in also about how the vehicle rides.
My personal take is that if you're looking for a drop like the Superdowns, it's best to go with coilovers at that point.
Yes...the cost factor between springs and coilovers is definitely a consideration, but the ride quality is going to be so much better with the coilovers...dare I say even close to stock.
I drive around on just Downs, and the ride is still good, but definitely not as nice as stock...I can only imagine what Superdowns would ride like. Plus it will significantly shorten the life of the struts/shocks.

To be safe, 235/35/19 would be a better bet.

Fresh and flush installation. Wheels- MRR Design Ground Force (GF06) Black, Tires- Nexen, and Springs- RSR downs.
19x8.5 ET35 - 245/35/19
19x9.5 ET40 - 265/30/19
No rub at all with a lovely concave look!
I can't wait for all the mods: TRD Body kit, windows tint, quad exhaust system and Brembo kit .

Rookie
Wheels finally on
Thanks to Sansuke for all the help!
got my Low Disc Diamond Cut Leon Harditt Ordens on my 2018 3IS!
Running
19x8.5+38 with 12MM spacer (-1 Camber)
19x9.5+38 (-2 Camber)
Tires
Front: 225/35R19
Rear: 255/30R19
Using 12MM Hubcentric Spacers + Hubcentric Rings + ARP extended studs for the front to clear my brakes and some project R26 Gunmetal Open Ended Lugs.
Car doesn't rub with 4 adults riding and or turns so everything turned out great, I do need to mold my front fender liner to clear me airing out as it barely touches the tabs a bit and pops out the last tab but is driving perfect with a 2 Finger gap up front and 1.5 finger gap in the rear.

We need some more pics!!!
I like the use of hubcentric parts and the ARP studs...looking good and staying safe!
