Great to hear...sounds like an awesome buy!

I tried to find those tires locally, but no dice.
First issue being some tire places are closed due to covid, so when i found one open, they weren't able to get it.
Ended up with the Firestone Firehawks...which are great tires, just a little more than I was looking to spend.

18x8.5 et35 225/35/18
18.9.5 et38 265/30/18
Wondering if RSR downs or superdowns would be better?
Open to any criticisms or editss of the set up!

Thanks in advance
I would suggest going with the RSR Downs...the Superdowns are quite a bit of drop, if you want it that low and still have a good ride, then coilovers would be the way to go.
As for the rims, the specs will fit no problem.
As for the tires you will need to rethink the sizes...you can't get a 265/30/18...at least I've never found one.
I have the same rim specs and I'm running 235/40/18 and 265/35/18...I'm hoping it will be warm enough soon so I can wash the car and post some pics.
If that's too much sidewall for you, then the stock F Sport tire sizes is your next option, 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.

I think you meant 255/35/18 probably just a typo.

Please do post pics when you can! I'm very interested in the look since I'm going for a similar set up. Thanks for the advice on the wheel size

Default Vossen cv3 fitment

Curious to know if anyone knows how the fitment of 19x8.5 and 19x10 rims with 10 and 15mm offset would turn out on an is200t. Is it possible? Do i need to roll the fenders or throw on a spacer?

With those offsets the wheels would be sticking outside the fenders.
For a 19x8.5, if you want a super flush fitment, then +30 would be as low as you can go...depends if vehicle is stock height or lowered as well.
For a 19x10, you'd need a +45 at least to clear the fender...once again it will depend if the vehicle is stock height or lowered...also what tire size you want to run.

Rear fenders can't be rolled because they are factory rolled already.
Spacers would decrease the offsets more bring them closer to 0, which would make the fitment even worse.

Outside of a custom fitment, the 19 inch CV3 comes in 8.5 +32 and 10 +42...which could work.

okay thanks for the quick reply, I’m assuming 19x9 et47 and 19x10 et30 (not sure how weird it would be but I don’t think that would work on the back from what you said, I guess it could go on the front?) or would be a good fit then right?

No.

For a 19x9 you would need an offset around +35...+47 to too much.
For a 19x10 you would need an offset around +45...+30 is not enough.

Cleaned the vehicle today so I could take a few pics with the rims on.
GTS G709 in Satin Bronze
18x8.5 +35 with 235/40/18
18x9.5 +38 with 265/35/18
Tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
No rubbing.
I don't post many pics, so I'm making up for it now.

Read through the entire thread and it's definitely helped pick out my first set of wheels/tires. Can I get a paranoia check to make sure it's all good? (Sasnuke, this is gonna be super similar to your current setup lol)

Work CR Kiwami
18x8.5 +38, 235/40/18

18x9.5 +38, 265/35/18
Continental DWS06

On stock suspension right now, but needing a new set of tires due to inner wear on the fronts. have a set of the RCF bushings to solve that. Getting coils when I move to a place that doesn't have (4) nasty speed bumps in the parking lot.
