Please don’t take this the wrong way, your car looks great (unbiased MRM owner here ) from all angles except this one.
A 9.5 wheel is usually impressive from the rear, but those tires don’t do it any justice.
Maybe it’s the tread pattern, or that it’s a 265 width. My other car has 9.5’s on the rear, and with 275’s on them. With either Mich Potenza’s or Conti DWS06’s I get remarks of “wow, that’s a wide tire!”, I’m not getting that feeling from yours.
Just an opinion based on a picture, maybe they look different in person.

Is having a super wide tire on the rear required to look cool? I was under the impression that super wide tires on the back were for cars making like at least 350+ HP to the wheels.

It's a valid observation. If i had gotten Michelins in the 265/35/18 they would have been another inch wider...almost.
That would have given it that wide fat look...but my concern was at the top with fender clearance...the Firehawk is a good compromise between look and fitment.
The Firehawk tread width is 8.9 inches, whereas a Michelin in the same size would have a tread width of 9.8 inches...so if up bump that up to a 275 on a Michelin it's likely another half inch added.
If the rear rims had more offset, like +42 or +45, then I may have considered a 275 tire.

On stock suspension right now, but needing a new set of tires due to inner wear on the fronts. have a set of the RCF bushings to solve that. Getting coils when I move to a place that doesn't have (4) nasty speed bumps in the parking lot.
Once the rim design clears the front calipers, them you'll be good all around.
By the numbers it should clear, but rim design is hard to factor in without actually putting the rim on the car.
On the up side, because of the +38 offset in the front, you may find the wheel looks a little set into the wheel well...if you add a 5mm spacer that will bring it out to improve the appearance, and if the rim didn't clear the caliper, the spacer would also fix that issue too.

No rubbing.
I don't post many pics, so I'm making up for it now.

Should be putting these bad boys on my IS Monday. I dropped them off to get ceramic coated (too lazy to clean them often lol). Also curious to see how these Falken Azenis FK510 tires handle. They are rated decently high among summer tires (upper midrange).

Well if you look at them in the U.S. they cost about $1200 before tax for the set but I was so lucky that I am in Germany currently (BBS is a German brand for anyone that didn’t know and they manufacture them here) and I have a bunch of contacts here so I got the set for $700 lol. They are the BBS XR. I will definitely post pics on Monday if I do get them back and install them.

Well the good news is I got the wheels back from being ceramic coated yesterday and installed them. The bad news was that the rear spacer studs didn’t clear the new wheels. I thought the new wheels would have the small pockets to fit the protruding studs but it just barely doesn’t due to the nuts. Oddly, the front spacers are designed a little different and it did clear, but it looked weird with the fronts being flush and the rears being tucked in. I think it looks decent even though they aren’t flush so I won’t complain.

Are the nuts for the front and rear the same?
I know the nuts for the 15mm and 20mm spacers I got for my other car have different nut heights, and I initially mixed them up and things didn’t fit.
Maybe you can get a lower profile nut that will fit the pocket?
Sometimes if the stud is too long, you can cut off the non-threaded part of the end of the stud to get it to fit. All depends on the wheel design.

Yeah it’s the nut that’s the problem on the rears. The stud is fine. I might look into finding a nut similar to the ones that are on the front spacers.
