The tires should be fine...you may want to confirm that the front rims clear the brake calipers...spoke design might impact this with respects to the large brake calipers.

Default 2017 IS200T F=Sport

MST Wheel Indsutry rims 18" x 8.5" Square setup +35 offset with 5mm spacers in fronts only. Issue was less than 0.5mm clearance to center of the FSPORT 4 piston caliper. Had minimal inside fender rubbing at high speed turn in but it worked itself out.

If you're not running Michelin tires then you should be fine. i have 19.5x9.5 +40 and RSR downs and with Michelin PS4S get slight rubbing at times. I pick up camber kit to adjust a bit to get rid of rubbing. At the shop we swap out couple different brand rears to test out(Kumho/Conti's) and those gave me no rubbing issues before the camber kit. I've heard that Michelin's are beefier sidewall tires

Thanks for the reply. My problem is that the dealer can’t confirm if the rims will clear so I’m left with using wheel calculators and forums to determine if the front rims will clear.

Based on the standard sizing chart of SSR wheels, my options are to go with the 19x8.5 +38 or a 19x9.0 +44 both on normal disk with a 40mm lip size. Should I just go with the latter?

I’m currently looking at the Executor 3-pc series rims of SSR.

Thanks. The tire dealer in my neighborhood offered a set of NITTO tires for the set if ever. It’s either that or Michelins.

Which Executor rim is it? CV01, 03?

Realistically both the fitments above are the same with regards to caliper clearance...technically you will get about 0.35mm more clearance with the 19x9 +44...but that's like the width of three hairs on you head lol
What about a 19x9.0 +31 on the front? The wheel will be super flush to the fender...and if that doesn't clear, nothing will.
I would get a narrow fitting tire at that point...no Michelins.

The CV04s

Won’t the 19x9.0 +31rub against the fender being super flushed?

Admittedly it's gonna be close, but, a couple members are running 18x9.5 +38 on the front with 255/35/18 tires and on RSR Downs...no rubbing.
The difference between that fitment and yours is about 1mm...so if you make a good tire choice, you should be good. One member even added a 5mm spacer to that front fitment.
You'd be looking at a 225/35/19 or 235/35/19 (non Michelin tire).

I used to have a 20x8.5 +35 on the front with RSR Downs and a 235/30/20, which I had to add a 6mm spacer because of caliper clearance...so basically a 20x8.5 +29. I still had room before it would hit the fender.
I used to rub on the fender liner on full lock turns, but that's mainly because the diameter of the wheel was that much larger.

Thanks for the inputs, Sasnuke. I’ll bite the bullet on the 19x8.5 +38 fronts and hopefully it will clear with a non-Michelin tire.

Looking for some advice. Just order a set of Work Emotion M8R 19x8.5 +45 and 19x9.5 +38.
Looking for tire size recommend. 2014 IS250 AWD lowered on RSR Down
I had read some uses 235/35/19 265/30/19 or 225/35/19 255/30/19. Not sure if there will be a difference in between IS250 or IS350

+45 might be too much in the front. Are you sure it’s not +35?

Is +45 that I ordered. So Should I go with +35 instead? I was looking at some other people setup and copying....
