Default Offset query

Hi, I have just got a 2017 IS200T and looking to move from 17 to 18s. Rims I like have 35 offset and the shopkeeper says for 35 I need to put hub adaptor since the OEM offset for the car is 45. Can someone please validate this? I don't want to change rims if it needs a hub adapter, I don't think adapters are safe, plus they result in quicker wearing off of the suspension.

Who are you replying to? It might be good to quote-reply the post in the future so it is clearer.

Not sure if anyone can answer this question for me or not but I'll give it a shot. When blowing up the picture you can see he has the standard brake calipers in the front. My question is do you think this setup would clear the big brake calipers. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

^Highly doubtful. Those wheels have too much concave going on. Spokes would hit the larger brake calipers.

Lovely! Is your IS an AWD or RWD? I'd like to run a similar setup on by 2017 IS200t (RWD) but have been advised the widest i can go in the front is 8.5 width.

Default Flush Fitment on Aftermarket Wheels

Hey guys new here on Club Lexus,

Looking for aftermarket wheels on my 2014 IS350 F Sport..
Looking at BBS SX Crystal Blacks or Work Kiwamis (after similar style to the OEM wheels without using spacers) - prefer BBS SX

What wheel setup should I go for that will give me a flush look, without scrubbing or rubbing?
Currently on:
RSR T1000 Downs
Pilot Sport 5s with Fronts: 225/40/R18 and Rears: 255/35/R18
Unsure if fenders are rolled etc.

Don’t mind square setup as long as tyres are not too stretched (want girth)

Thank you. No pics yet as it’s on stock wheels :/

Hey Guys,

finally saved enough, read enough and have decided to choose the following for flush fitment

Work Wheels - Emotion ZR10

just wanted to double check with anyone else who has the same or similar specs first.

2018 is300 rwd f sport lowered on springs 1.0inch front 0.9 inch rear

= 19x8.5 +30 front 235/35/19 - 19x9.5 + 38 rear 265/30/19

Wheel nuts - M12 x 1.5
Hub rings - 73mm-60mm
