Im sitting on coilovers, having 1 finger gap all four corners

Love the stance of your car. Are you running spacers in the rear? If not a square wheel/tire setup looks like the way to go.

Tires are 245/35 front and rear are 275/30. Rubs like crazy. Thinking of going 225/30 front 255/30 rear, will that work?
Stock springs. Planing on lowering it with the Rsr down springs.

The overall diameter of your tires are way bigger than stock. The tires you recommended sound good, but those rear wheels are pretty agressive.

Do you have to run spacers in the front to avoid hitting the struts? Would you say your drop is similar to the drop with RSR down springs? I wanted to stick with 18" wheels to keep the ride quality with 35 sidewall rear. Even with 19" wheels you can't run any tires with sidewalls bigger than 30 in the rear.

Once i lower it and with a rear camber kit hopefully it would be good.
The reason the rears are a little agressive is cuz i had these on a infiniti g37 coupe, i dont want to get new wheels. They were a little expensive.
Thanks I appreciate the help.

I had a similar wheel setup as you, but ended up selling my 20in wheels and going with 18in Niche Misano instead. I was rubbing like crazy and the ride quality was a nightmare. You will also require fender work because 10.5 in the rear is too wide for the 3IS.

I recommend you go with RSR Half Down instead of RSR Down Springs. There was a member on CL that had RSR Down Springs with 20x10.5 in the rear and it damaged his fender. If you run 255/30R20 in the rear it will slightly prevent rubbing, but your tires will be super stretched so chances of you damaging your wheels is very high. That's why the biggest wheel for the 3IS is 19inch and no wider than 9.5 in the rear. Your wheels are nice though don't get me wrong, it's just they designed the 3IS a little smaller.

Here's what I would run for 20 inch wheels.

225/30R20 - Front
255/30R20 - Rear

You can run a 10" rim in back with proper offset. Vossen CVT as an example (19x10 +42)

Im running 5mm spacers front and back. Original wheel spec is 18x9.5 ET40 all around.

Did the wheels rub on the inside arm without the spacers?

It will rub if you are making a turn as I mentioned it will be touching the knuckle if you do not add any spacers. Even when I added 5mm spacers, I do touch the knuckle when backing up and making a full turn so I am assuming 5mm spacers is still not enough, may you need 7-8mm at least

Damn, I wanted to run Enkei Nt03 18x9.5 +40 all around but don't like the idea of spacers.

Thanks for the info though.

Nt03 does have 18x9.5 ET27, and run 255/35/18 all around should be okay. The re71r tires are some wide tires, at 265/35/18 it's same width as my 275/30/19 PSS.
