I have zero rub in the front right now. I dont see any issue after drop, and if there is, it will be minimal. Im not at full turn often anyways. I ran 19x8.5 +35 setup on my 06 TL with 245/35-19 dropped on H&R springs, and it only had very slight rub at full turn. I kept those wheels when I sold the car, but ended up wanting to go staggered on the IS350, so ended up not using them.

I’m running 225 in the front right now on a 19x8.5 +30 wheel. I wanted to move up to a 235 while I was replacing my rear tires but the shop refused to do it because it would cause me to rub way too much. I’m dropped on ark springs btw

Do 19" wheels affect performance and mpg at all? I imagine going with a bigger/heavier wheel would slow you down a bit.

It depends on the weight.

Default Is350

Hi guys, have been a not so active member on here from Australia since my UCF 11 days.

I have just purchased a 3IS 350 non f sport.

Have been looking at some f sport wheels but finding it difficult to source them locally at a reasonable price.

Has anybody gone down the path of BBS SR's ?

What would a set of

18x 8 +40 and 18x9 +40 fit like or 18x8 +40 all ound in BBS SX, would these clear the callipers ? Not looking for any poke, just looking for something possibly slightly more aggressive in offset and only looking to lower it possibly half an inch in the future.

Does anybody have any suggestions or images of the same wheels or wheels with similar offsets and any images of 19's on factory height suspension, do we look like we're going sailing or is it still respectable.

Thanks.

I'm running an 8.5 +35 and 9.5 +45.. no poke... As far as clearing the calipers, that depends on wheels design. I would contact a distributor or the manufacturer.

Agreed. Also depends on brand.. i.e.... A cast aluminum or forged wheel will be lighter than those cheap alloy wheels. Depends on wheel design too. Multispoke wheels tend to be heavier than like a 5 spoked wheel. Have to remember you might be gaining wheel material but you are also losing a bit of tire.

Guess i should make this my first post
20x9 +35 / 245/35R20 Ventus K120 Front
20x10.5 +40 / 285/30R20 Ventus K120 Rear
Had some rubbing at first until I installed some arms in the rear

Fitted these on the weekend, I think it needs to be slightly lower, maybe some half downs if I can find them in Australia. 8.5 front 9.5 rear 19\"

Yes and yes. I felt like my car was a tiny bit slower after I switched from factory 17s to 19s and it definitely affected mpg too

If the wheels are heavier then stock, you will notice a difference. It is possible for you to upsize your wheels and still have them lighter then stock.

Would be cool to take some clear and add a few drops of candy red, and use it to tint all of your emblems to match the wheels. Or you might even be able to find some acrylic model paint that already matches the wheels.
