Saw my first RC on the road today ...
.... and I have to admit I was a bit jealous lol. What an impressive beast! I probably won't be getting a new car for 4-5 years though.

went to go check it out at the dealer last week and i was initially wowed by it. After staring and playing around with it for 10 minutes, the initial wow factor went away and the rear end just got uglier and uglier to me. My favorite things of the RC though are the headlights and the bezel-less rear view mirror

I test drove both RC fsport and RCF last month. Overall RC fsport is pretty much identical to mine IS350 fsport in terms of performance, interior is slightly difference. You will have hard time fitting 4 people in the RC compare to the IS. That's the reason I chose IS over RC.

I hated it in pics and videos...liked it better in person. Unfortunately there is ZERO backseat space...the back of the front seats touch the backseat, so you can't even fit a young child back there...that was a deal breaker for me.

I saw one, and my local dealer already has their first allocated RC-F.
My personal opinion, I think it looks like a glorified FR-S, with an ugly as #%(8 fascia.
The car looks cheap in the back with those plastic inserts at the rear bumper behind teh rear tires. Its more cramped inside than a Jag F-type. The new mouse pad thing actually is "creepy" because it feels like a heart beat pushing on your finger, and for $70k, only getting 467hp is rather depressing.
I think the current IS250/350 is a better buy, and the new IS-F, if its based off this gen IS, will be much better looking and more functional.

But some credit should be given to the interior --- despite the dash shares a lot of cues from IS250/350. It is a much more polished interior with better materials particular in the door panels and the lower centre console. More equipment as well. Also discovered Lexus has changed the rearview mirror from framed to frameless for RC.
