250 vs 350 mpg

I agree. MPG should not be the reason to get the 250 over the 350. Only reason to get the 250 is to save money. If I had only 40k to work with, I would take the is350 non f-sport over the is250 f-sport any day.

I prob get 21 mpg on the 350 on average.
My full tank has ranged anywhere from 297-305 miles give or take, if that helps at all. I think every full tank depends on the recent averages if that's telling.

Motor Trend did a 3 car review of the 2014 IS sedans (IS 250, IS 350 AWD and IS 350 F-Sport). They found little difference in MPG among the 3 vehicles:
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/..._line_verdict/
"In total, I put 18,039 miles on the three cars: 5441 on the 250, 5810 on the 350 AWD, and 6788 on the 350 F Sport. Per Lexus, all three should have seen average fuel economy within a few miles per gallon of each other, and my driving, as well as our Real MPG testing, confirmed that. The 250 is rated at 21/30/24 mpg (city/highway/combined) and I observed 22.2 mpg. (It was not tested by our Real MPG team.) The 350 AWD is rated at 19/26/21 mpg and returned Real MPG results of 20/29/23 mpg. I observed 22.1 mpg. The 350 F Sport is rated at 19/28/22 and saw 21/28/24 mpg results in Real MPG testing. I drove the sporty model harder than the other cars and saw 21.8 mpg."

i drove from sacramento to los angeles (400 ish miles)
left it in eco-mode and had a light foot 70-75 mph the whole way
from pump to pump the car showed that I got an average of 26 mph.
however, when I calculated the fillup vs miles, it was in excess of 30mph
to la 30.5, from la 30.9 mpg
stellar!

You guys are amazing, I knew I asked at the right place lol my car still isn't back, I heard "likely Friday" as in tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath.
I think I'm going to go with the 350, hopefully a nebula/rioja fsport My biggest issue with the gas is there aren't any stations convenient to work and home so the less I have to fill up, the better.
Hope you all are having a great new year so far!
