Did the RX you tested have the same non-leather seat material?

Oh no it was leather lol. But can the material really make such a big difference? The heat in the RX's seats are in a way different league then the IS.

And I might get it checked at the dealership. It doesn't feel natural for my seats to just give off a burst of heat out of no where lol

The F-Sport Nuluxe seats in the NX (99% identical to the IS's) heat up very well - similar to the RX's. And much better than the lukewarm IS's.

Maybe they fixed this for 2015 because mine get plenty warm. They roast my chestnuts just fine.
