Within the first week of us getting our IS i heard a thump while driving on the freeway. I pulled off and sure as heck a rock chipped the windshield.

That's tiny! Chips and dings give the car character anyway

That sucks, but it happens. It doesn't look to big in the picture. Hopefully there will be no more. Dealers give free touch-up paint?

It's small but stands out because of the white, making me angry but oh we'll just a car I guess, I'm too meticulous, bothering me

So sorry this happened! I would be crying and cursing the heck out of the rock chip if this happened to me! You may want to get the clear bra soon

Ive got about 10 of those on my front bumper.... no big deal, eventually you just get used to it. Unless of course you plan on participating in car shows.....

I know one of the reasons why I got a lease was to just ride and enjoy the car and not worry about little things like this! And look I'm still obsessing over it! I'm too much of a perfectionist not a good thing

It's okay! I know how you feel. I got a clear bra for this kind of stuff but I still got them rock chips.

Is this even suppose to happen and is the bra suppose to cover that area?

Thanks,

Alvin

I have about 30 rock chips in my front bumper after owning the car 16 months.
Every 6. month I mix up a bit of the touch up paint, and fill inn the new rock chips with a very small brush.

I thought the point of the clear bra was to protect against rocks?

Clear bra will help, but when youre going 60 and hitting rocks from the road, its like going 120!! it'll only help so much!
