The 3IS F Sport boasts the gorgeous aluminum accelerator and brake pedals, but footbrake and dead pedal are cheap rubber and plastic ones. The footbrake pedal problem can be solved with the help of 3IS' grandma - aluminum pedal from manual Altezza. The part number is 3132153010 and it looks like this:
Unfortunately, this part is not direct fit, some custom work is needed. Cut a metal plate and weld a bolt to it, insert the plate into the aluminum part from the back side, add washers and tighten the nut.
The result is a nice completed set of pedals - as it should be from the factory (sorry for the dirty floor mat)
Great mod that I wanted to do but I don't have the tool to modify. This is a mod also extremely popular among the 3IS owners in Japan on the MinKara Carview blog. You are the first one in ClubLexus that does that.
Some of them also change the left foot dead pedal/footrest making use of some parts from probably IS-F but I find the solution not very elegant.
Thanks for this. Now you need Weathertech Digicut floor mats to finish off your look
Thanks! I've already got a good set of Genuine Lexus rubber mats )

They use IS-F parts, right, and it works for RHD cars, but the fit is not perfect. For our LHD cars a dead pedal from RC F Sport can be good enough, gonna dig the possibility of installing it.

Actually, I had this thought after I posted. RC F instead is a good candidate where one can make use of the part for the dead pedal.
