Default IS350 Brake VS F-Sport Brake

I know the F-Sport brake is 6 piston up front and 4 piston in the rear. How about the IS350 brake? Is it 4 piston up front and 2 piston in the rear?

I think the only difference is the type of pads used on the F-Sport vs Non F-Sport.

Yes the FSport aftermarket brakes are 6/4 piston setup. Note that only the front Fsport upgrade fits. The rears are different from the 2IS to the 3IS.

The stock IS350/IS350 Fsport brakes are 4/1 piston setup.

Just as an FYI, upgrading to the Fsport kit will not stop this car any faster. In addition there are no problems with brake fade at all on the stock IS350 brakes. I was able to hot lap the car for a full hour at a time for 4 hours on OEM pads and fluid and went so hard on it that I overheated the transmission fluid (car and driver also did that) but there was zero sign of brake fade. Upgrading from IS350 brakes would be a complete waste. Now maybe upgrading from IS250 to IS350 brakes would be beneficial but I've never tested the limits of the IS250 brakes.

either you like them for "show" or you run R-comp tires at the track then you'll boil your brake fluid and might need the upgraded brakes
