I agree, it's not the best color especially if you wear dark-colored jeans.

There is a color called "flaxen" which might be better suited for what you want.

i have this color interior with atomic silver outside. It’s a beautiful color leather (not fake leather) and doesn’t pick up blue dye from jeans

Is the Flaxen color nuluxe or real leather?

You need to look at the actual trim code to know for sure.
It was another criteria when I was searching for an IS, it had to be real leather (another thing that ruled out F-sports I saw listed, they all had the fake stuff).

Nowadays Lexus doesn't even offer real leather in the IS. If I was in the market for one, I wouldn't care. Nuluxe is awesome - very soft and smooth.

mine is genuine leather. I’m not knocking nuluxe but I excluded f sports from my search bc I wanted leather.

Wow, you are correct. Just went to the ‘build your Lexus’ site and tried it.
Scratch IS off my next car shopping list. You’re not in the luxury category if you don’t offer leather. Fake is fake.
I’ll keep my current IS (with real leather) until it dies.
