New to lease. looking to get is250 fsport
I'm looking to join the lexus community after a long, fun time spend in the subaru one. I owned a 04 subaru wrx with EJ207 JDM sti swap. Sold the car and now been really interested in these new lexus.
Keep it short, I'm looking to get one by the end of this month bday gift to self. New to leasing so have no idea, have a start point now thanks to the few threads I've been reading on this fourm. One thing try to not put anything down for the lease. Sadly my first trip I went there with the idea of dropping 3k for the DP. Don't know much but here it goes, as for the car it's the is250 f sport crafted line, had chosen this because they did not have any white is250 available and that was only one. I'm from NJ.
MSRP: 47180/...think i saw it in person at 46xxx
Was looking at 12k/27mth. Trying to stay around <=400. How much should I put down?.... Lol so new to this that the fees are giberish to me. No idea what to expect to pay for them.
Thanks so much in advance lexus comm.

If the MSRP is 47,180 and you get the car for 46,000 or so. We don't get too many great deals on the east coast for these cars. Anyway with 3K down I would think the lease comes around 475 a month not including any taxes you may have to pay. I was using a residual of 73% on the car and assuming a good credit rating also. Credit rating determines your MF which is the finance charge on the car. With good credit you should not have an MF of more than .0015 which equates to 3.6 % finance charge. To meet your goal of 400 a month you would need to put around 6K down. The only two things you can wheel and deal are is the final price of the car and the MF (finance charge)

To the OP - for that kind of money, why aren't you considering a 350? And you need to get as much leasing education as possible BEFORE entering into any serious negotiation or you are going to pay more for your lease than you should.

No Im not on crack and you don't live in New England where you just can't much of a discount off MSRP.

Depending where you live I guess. I know a few folks in wstern NY with discounts on the is250 as much as 15% off msrp. The best way is to do a search on this forum and read what others feom your area have paid.
Also if you want to understand more about leases I would encourage you to go and read this thread (all about leasing stiky under car chat)that me and many others have put down some very valuable information about leasing buying in general!

What was your agreed selling price, how long of a lease, miles per year, any taxes on your payment, what was your MF, all these have to be considered before getting a final lease price. I ran his numbers through Leaseguide with 3K down and guessing on MF and Residual and the payment was 471.So how far off was I?.

MSRP at $47K seems high for an IS250 FSPORT to me, but then, I don't know what the options are. Also, mine is a 2014, so maybe the MSRP increased for the new model year. Mine has nav and BSM and the MSRP was about $44K. The lease was not based on MSRP and I got a good deal. Hopefully, the good deals are still out there.

Just picked up a IS250 crafted edition for $425 a month with 36 months. Msrp was around 47800. Discounted the car was around 45k
$750 out of pocket. Dealer took my G37 back with 3 payments left and ate those for me to get me into the Lexus family.

I live in Los Angeles.
Traded in my 2014 IS 250 (Base) with no negative equity for my current
2015 is250 F-Sport
$500 down
466/month
10k/year
27 months.
Going to trade out before 24 months, don't pay registration renewal to keep the car for another 3 months.
I tend to trade out of my leases around the 20/22nd month.
