Default GS F-Sport Shift ****

Installed the GS F-Sport Shift ****. I did this last week, but figured it's still recent enough to post in this thread. This shift **** feels so much better than the stock 3IS shift **** and it compliments the perforated steering wheel. I think that all F-Sport models should have come with this ****.

I did the same thing.... I just wished it had one with red stiching to match my red interior.

You could always try something like what CorradoMR2 did to the stitching on his steering wheel in his build thread. Here is the link to his build and a screen shot of a pic I took from his post. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...-thread-4.html

I had my dealer price match mylparts.com.

I followed this thread and it has the instructions that you have to translate via google and the part numbers.: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...hift-****.html

You can use the pictures on this thread for reference: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...head-unit.html and https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-console.html

This is video for the RCF....its not 100% the same but alot of it is the same:

New Lexus owner checking in. Just bought this 2016 is350 F sport atomic silver and I absolutely love it!! The exterior is great and the interior is just something else. This color combination currently wasn't available in my state of Texas, so they had to bring one in from Alabama. Nikki from north park Lexus in San Antonio went out of her way to give us the best deal. I just got it this past Saturday and it already has tint, rsr down springs, seibon rear Carbon fiber spoiler and I'm waiting for my front Carbon fiber spoiler to come in several days. The longest I've stayed with a car is 3 years and with this one I possibly see myself keeping it and paying it off. It's just so amazing!

How did you remove the shift ****? If I want to remove mine (the shift **** only), where would I start? Thanks a lot.

That is next on my list as soon as the stuff shows up.

Did you do the chrome around the Windows yet?

Also do you have pictures of how you masked off the grill?

Added precision LEDs to all of the interior as well as puddle lamps. I forgot to add the reverse lights so I'll order those next round of things I buy.

I didn't do the window trim yet as that is going to be a much larger project - plus I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get around the sideview mirrors. I wish I had taken pictures of the masking job because it was pretty funny looking but basically I used painters tape and old magazine pages to cover up the entire front end of the car. The grille was completely covered all the way to the inside edge of the trim but I left about half an inch around the outside edges. As long as you do enough coats (I did four) it should peel off very easily. Good luck!
