Center console - refresh for 2016?
Howdy, I'm shopping around and am very interested in the IS 350 F Sport AWD.
One of the few hangups I have is the center console, especially in comparison to the RC -- does anyone know if the 2016 model year IS might get the RC-style center console? (better cupholder placement, trackpad instead of mouse, larger console-cubby)
Thanks.

What's interesting to me about the enform remote, is that for the 2016 GS-F, ES, and RX, the pics show they are using the remote mouse instead of the touch pad. Something tells me that although the touch pad seems to be a new trend in cars, the Lexus implementation wasn't as strong as they hoped and that the mouse is still easier to use (I've seen mixed reviews from car press on this as well). I didn't like the mouse at first, and had to dial the resistance to max. But after a month, the resistance is dialed almost all the way down (maybe at 2). I've gotten very used to it and think it works fine now.

Same here. I like the touch pad in the first place. Then, I find the mouse is better.
Mouse is faster and precise if you know how to use it. I guess this is the same reason for people add a mouse on their laptop.
If you like the RC interior, you can simply get the RC 350 F Sport. Basically, RC is IS is very similar. RC only cost a little more only.
