so there are members on here, including myself, that would like to have stillen produce a rear diffuser. they make a front splitter that is real simple and clean and thought it would be nice to have a diffuser that was the same. there are not very many choices that I'm interested in other than the seibon rf style lip, but think it would be a waste/tragedy/(insert bad adjective) to wrap or paint over carbon fiber. I love carbon fiber, but I don't want it to be the only thing on my car that is carbon fiber. and to save from the argument, "go buy more carbon fiber pieces," there are none that I'm interested in either...other than a spoiler...haha. I created this to see if there truly is enough interest for stillen make a diffuser available for us. here are a couple of diffusers they make. one is for a maxima and the other for a q50.
very simple but clean! these are available in unpainted and matte black. so let's see if we can make this come to fruition!!!
I like where this is headed. I've also emailed Mark at Stillen showing interest in a rear diffuser. I also like the subtlety of the diffusers you have suggested. If the 3IS diffuser follows suit, I'd imagine it would be similar to the AIMGAIN Type2 diffuser without the painted portion and outlets for quad exhaust tips. I guess it would also be similar to the Seibon diffuser but without the vents/wires and carbon fiber.
I'm surprised Stillen makes one for the Q50 but not the 3IS.
We are still a little new to the Lexus market and are still developing new parts. Any Infiniti/Nissan parts have been our bread and butter for decades. We would like to make Lexus the same way though so we greatly appreciate all the interest in our development of products.
another 3is owner that would absolutely love this!!! hope you guys at stillen can make it happen. I love the front lip you have made. and hopefully some sideskirts are in the works too
Definitely interested. Picked up their front lip/splitter a few weeks back and have been trying to figure out what to do with the rear ever since. Can't bring myself to spend the $$ on what is currently available nor do I want to start going down the CF route...
