Dropped on Tein Street Advance, maybe about the RS*R down specs or Tein S Tech specs. Anways, at least once per day, i always scrape on those 2 black rubber pieces in front of both tires. The front of the actual bumper doesn't scratch, its always the black part below the engine bay.
You guys just deal with it?

I think you could just take them off if you wanted. I'm on air and when I air out those pieces are on the ground. I'm pretty sure they are just guards so you shouldn't need to worry too much about them

Probably they would scrape in some curbs/mall exit as even the regular IS would do at times.
Those black rubber pieces are called "Front Wheel Opening Extension Pad" by Lexus (New Car Features/NCF in Toyota TIS) and I didn't realize they are actually quite common in other cars of any make.
I already have one of those piece scraped by exiting a certain plaza at zero speed. I then avoided going to the plaza by that particular entrance. (there are 2 entrances for the plaza)

they're usually for air deflection and yes I scraped mine all the time when lowered on Tanabe springs (on 17" wheels).
You can easily remove them...I believe they are 2 or 3 10mm bolts per side. Better to remove them rather than have them break off and damage the fender liner, which i'm sure isn't cheap to replace. If you unbolt them now, you can always bolt them on again later, but if the fender liner rips then you won't be able to attach new deflectors without a new fender liner.

Im lowered on rsr springs. I get freaked out each time i hear scrape noise it always ends up being them. I kinda want to take them off to but it always reminds me to take it easy on bump dips and pot holes. If i didnt hear any scrapping im sure id take them fast.

Call it my scrape indicator.

I'm lowered on swift springs (1 inch drop) and i dont scrape at all with them. Dont worry about it if you are scraping , its just plastic lol
