Alignment ?
Anyone have problems getting an alignment AFTER lowering. seems no one in my area has the old fashioned machine where it clamps on the wheel edge, they have the ones that clamp on the outside of the tire, which limits the rotation of the wheel if the body is too close. I am on rsr downs with Vossens, which wont work at all, so hoping the stock wheels will. Anyone with info please share. Thanks

Different wheels and tires than stock will affect alignment specs, if there's really absolutely no one around that has the older Hunter's machine, then alignment on stock is probably better than nothing.
Camber can't be adjusted anyways, but toe could use some dialing in.

But can it be done with the car being lowered? That's my biggest concern. I can always swap out for the stock wheels

Stock wheels on RSR Down's should have plenty of clearance
Edit: But again I would advise this only as a last resort, since a proper wheel alignment on your Vossens would be a great deal more accurate than with stock wheel and tires on there.

wheels have no bearing on alignment at all. There are tons of applications and scenarios where people get alignments on stock wheels then put on their aftermarket wheels. In fact, when I had my tundra before the IS, it would not fit on the alignment rack with the wheels and tires i was running. So I always got it aligned with the stock wheels/tires, never had an issue.
It's really common for trucks, the mechanics don't change with cars.
OP, just put on your stock wheels and get it aligned, you'll be fine.

Got the car aligned today with stock wheels and all numbers are within spec. Very happy camper here.

I was thinking more along the line that the different size wheels and tires could have an affect on the ride height and all, but seeing as everything else stays static as far as suspension components goes, then point taken
